Job summary

Hawkins, Inc. is seeking a transportation driver to load and unload trucks and deliver products to customer sites in a timely, safe manner.

The role requires a Class B CDL with tanker and HAZMAT endorsements, a high school diploma, and a good driving record. 1–3 years driving experience and MS Office/MRP ERP familiarity are preferred. Travel varies up to 20% and a retention bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years driving experience required.
• CDL Class B with tanker and HAZMAT endorsements required or ability to obtain.
• Satisfactory driving record.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Basic computer skills; MS Office knowledge; prior MRP/ERP experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to internal and external customer sites.
• Operate equipment and handle hazardous materials per DOT standards.
• Complete shipping/receiving docs and inventory records.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles/equipment.
• Maintain workplace housekeeping standards.
• Report safety incidents to supervisor or manager.
• Adhere to SOPs and environmental, safety, health regs.
• Travel may be required 0–20%.
