CDL Delivery Driver Class A/Material Handler

Join us as a member of one of the largest metal roofing and siding producers in the Southeast! Our company engages in the sale, manufacturing, and distribution of metal building components and packages. With a trajectory of growth since 2002, we now boast a presence in over 8 locations across the southern region. An exciting opportunity awaits. We are currently seeking a candidate to fill the dual role of CDL Delivery Driver/Material Handler who thrives on being an integral part of our dynamic team.

Starting pay ranges from $19.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities and Expectations

• Monday through Friday work schedule
• 20%-30% material handling and 70%-80% delivery driving
• Load all delivery trucks in an organized, safe, and efficient manner
• Load and deliver merchandise to designated locations
• Drive Cummins Powered Ram 4500 and 5500 Medium Duty Trucks
• Haul 25’ to 35’ long specialized Metal Roofing Delivery Trailers
• Keep warehouse organized
• Assist Machine Operator Leads with production needs
• Pull materials accurately from picking slips
• Safely load materials for customers
• Complete warehouse organizational tasks
• Assist Delivery Drivers with loading
• Operate forklifts according to safety policies

Qualifications

• Current CDL Class A (required)
• Current Medical Card (required)
• Ability to bend, squat, twist, push-pull, and lift materials exceeding 50lbs
• Comfortable working independently on the road
• Experience maneuvering trailers over 25 feet in remote and tight spaces
• Moffit experience is a plus
• Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills
• Professional and positive interaction with customers
• Maintain a clean and presentable truck
• Greet customers enthusiastically
• Material handling experience
• Attention to detail and quality control
