MAJOR FUNCTION:

A Material Handler ensures production lines have necessary materials during the shift, facilitates material movement, staging, and basic inventory management while maintaining 5S practices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Complete all required audits applicable to the position.
2. Ensure forklift safety in use.
3. Stock production lines with necessary boxes, pallets, and totes.
4. Deliver raw materials to production lines in a timely manner.
5. Ensure processing aids are available for production.
6. Stage materials throughout the facility.
7. Ensure physical inventory matches Plex locations.
8. Perform cycle inventory.
9. Maintain documentation physically and electronically.
10. Follow company policies and procedures.
11. Collaborate with support staff to resolve issues.
12. Alert personnel of deviations or equipment issues promptly.
13. Participate in continuous improvement activities.
14. Maintain a clean work area and assist in maintaining cleanliness of the facility.
15. Promote safety efforts and maintain a safe working environment.
16. Reinforce production goals, standards, and work ethic.
17. Maintain 5S systems throughout the facility.
18. Perform other tasks as required.
