You will coordinate with drivers, verify items and quantities, and help customers with loading and unloading during deliveries. The role requires a Class A CDL (or Class B with air brake endorsement where applicable), a medical certificate, and successful MVR screening.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL License; in some locations Class B with air brake endorsement is acceptable.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment.
• Ability to pass MVR screen per company requirements.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as required by law.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times following Lowe's policies and programs.
• Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Communicates information to customers regarding stock, special order merchandise, and warranty details.
• Delivers merchandise and coordinates with truck driver to ensure on-time delivery and proper loading.
• Inspects products before loading and ensures loads are safe and compliant with DOT regulations.
• Unloads and tests appliances upon delivery and maintains vehicle safety and cleanliness.
