Gillman Home Center is seeking a CDL Driver/Lumber Yard Associate to transport lumber and materials to customer job sites and support yard operations. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and efficient loading, unloading, and delivery of materials.

The position involves operating trucks and forklift, planning routes, and performing yard duties as needed. A Class B CDL, DOT card, and forklift experience are preferred, with a strong background in customer service a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver''s license with Class B CDL endorsement.
• Valid DOT physical card.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of lumber and building materials preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers.
• Greet and assist customers in a positive, approachable manner and resolve concerns.
• Load/unload lumber and building materials and build loads as needed.
• Operate trucks and equipment and deliver materials to job sites.
• Plan routes for economical use of time and equipment.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance and log details.
