Job summary

Gillman Home Center is seeking a CDL Driver/Lumber Yard Associate for a part-time role (12-24 hours/week). You will drive and coordinate lumber deliveries, assist customers, and support yard operations in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading materials, planning routes, and maintaining safety procedures. Prior forklift experience and knowledge of lumber/building materials are preferred, along with 1–2 years of customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with Class B CDL endorsement.
• Valid DOT physical card.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Knowledge of lumber and building materials preferred.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers.
• Assist with loading/unloading lumber and materials.
• Operate trucks and equipment to deliver materials.
• Plan efficient routes to save time and fuel.
• Maintain safety and keep logs; report defects to supervision.
• Perform yard tasks when not delivering.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
