Job summary

PODS is seeking a CDL driver in Winchester, VA to handle delivery and pickup of containers to customer sites. You will operate a commercial truck with a lift, follow safety rules, and maintain strong customer rapport.

The role requires a valid CDL A or B, at least 21, and 3 months’ driving experience. You’ll perform inspections, coordinate paperwork, and support storage center operations while enjoying a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 months of experience as a CDL driver.
• Must hold a valid CDL A or B license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up containers at customer sites safely.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and lift.
• Handle add-on deliveries to meet business needs.
• Use handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation.
• Operate forklift and/or overhead crane as required.
• Keep containers clean and ready for delivery.
• Coordinate rental paperwork and payments with customers.
• Provide backup support for storage center functions.
• Maintain a clean truck cab and respond to issues.
• Report to Market Manager and follow driver lead directions.
