Job summary

QXO in Utah is seeking a CDL Class B Driver to deliver building materials to customer jobsites. You will operate commercial vehicles, inspect and secure loads, assist with loading, and coordinate with Dispatch to ensure on-time delivery.

Candidates must be 21+, have a valid Class B CDL, 12 months driving experience, able to lift up to 75 lbs, and work outdoors in all weather. The role offers benefits, training, and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE
