Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Springfield, MA. You will shuttle equipment between Ryder customer facilities, with no-touch freight, local home daily schedule, and a Monday–Friday workweek. Expect weekly pay of $900, with a $22.50 hourly rate and strong benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months in past 3 years, or 2 years in past 5 years, or 5 years in past 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a commercial vehicle and requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service.
• Additional responsibilities include maintaining compliance with applicable laws, detecting and eliminating safety hazards, and maintaining accurate records and logs.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly

• Home Time: Local - Home Daily

All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities

• Route: Shuttle Equipment between Ryder Customer Facilities
• Freight:No Touch - Empty Trailers for Equipment Shuttle Transfer Movement

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements
