160 Driving Academy is seeking a CDL Class A Instructor Trainer to teach students from pre-trip inspections through the CDL exam, in the yard and on the road. Based at a designated yard, you will train with a team of instructors and may cover at other regional yards as needed.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with a home‑night schedule, strong student outcomes, and opportunities for merit increases and bonus pools tied to yard performance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a CDL Class A driver and trainer is required.
• Ability to teach pre-trip inspections and yard maneuvers.
• Strong reliability and time-keeping for shift-based work.

Responsibilities

• Teach Class A driving skills in outdoor yards and on‑road segments.
• Guide students through pre‑trip inspections, yard maneuvers, and CDL testing prep.
• Maintain training records, evaluations, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Lead Instructor to ensure a consistent student experience.
• Cover for other instructors at nearby regional yards during emergencies.
• Maintain yard cleanliness and assist with minor upkeep.
