Job summary

Trulite is hiring for a Driver Trainee position in the Kansas City/Olathe area. This structured program provides fully sponsored CDL training, with no prior trucking experience required, and includes paid training and a clear path from trainee to licensed Class A driver.

Upon licensure, you will operate a Class A tractor-trailer to deliver glass and aluminum products. Benefits start on day one, with performance incentives and a supportive, safety-driven work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age 21 for interstate routes; 18 for intrastate roles where applicable.
• Valid driver's license held continuously for at least 3 years with clean record.
• Able to pass background check, DOT drug screen, and FMCSA Clearinghouse.
• Willingness to sign the training service agreement with Trulite.

Responsibilities

• Move through a four-phase program: application & selection, CDL training, driver apprenticeship, full driver status.
• Assist with local delivery routes under supervision and progressively take on more responsibility.
• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer to deliver glass and aluminum products after training.
