Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles, including tractor-trailers.
• Transport and deliver freight according to routes, schedules, and customer requirements.
• Perform required pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections.
• Load, secure, inspect, and protect cargo during transit.
• Follow DOT regulations, hours-of-service, and traffic laws.
• Maintain logs, delivery documents, bills of lading, and inspection reports.
• Communicate with dispatch about routes, delays, and changes.
• Safely maneuver vehicles at loading docks, yards, and customer locations.
• Report accidents, violations, mechanical issues, and unsafe conditions.
• Keep vehicle and work area clean and professional.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers and partners.
• Assist with loading and unloading freight when required.
