Job summary

Aviagen USA is seeking highly experienced Drivers to operate commercial motor vehicles and transport poultry in a safe, compliant manner. You will follow DOT safety rules and company policies, ensuring secure loads and accurate documentation.

Qualifications include 3–5+ years of driving experience, a valid Class A CDL with a satisfactory driving record, and the ability to work unsupervised. Expect outdoor work, long shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of driving experience.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid Class A CDL with 1 year verifiable satisfactory driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT, state and federal laws.
• Ability to read and write legibly.
• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous live poultry tractor trailer driving experience.
• Lift up to 75 lbs.
• Work in outside environment and on a daily basis.
• Work nights, weekends, holidays and long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Comply with DOT regulations.
• Perform and document pre-trip inspections.
• Assist with loading and unloading trailer as necessary.
• Ensure load is secure before movement.
• Maintain proper documentation (equipment, time, trips, weight, etc.).
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Comply with company safety policies and regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
