Job summary

Aviagen is seeking experienced CDL A drivers to safely operate commercial motor vehicles and transport poultry products. You will perform pre-trip inspections, load and unload as needed, and ensure loads are secure and compliant with DOT rules.

Candidates should have 0–3 years of driving experience, a valid Class A CDL, and the ability to work nights or long shifts. Excellent safety, reliability, and a strong work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years driving experience required.
• Must be 21+ years old and hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety rules.
• Ability to read and write legibly for logs and documentation.
• Strong work ethic, honesty, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Comply with DOT safety rules and company policies.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and document them.
• Assist with loading/unloading and securing loads.
• Maintain accurate trip logs and equipment documentation.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Work nights, weekends, and long shifts as required.
