Job summary

Aviagen is seeking an experienced Driver III to operate commercial motor vehicles and transport poultry in a safe, compliant manner. You will perform pre-trip inspections, secure loads, and maintain detailed trip records in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of driving experience preferred
• Valid Class A CDL with 1 year verifiable safe driving record
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety rules
• Ability to read and write clearly
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections and document results
• Assist with loading/unloading trailers and securing loads
• Maintain accurate trip and maintenance documentation
• Report truck and equipment issues to supervisor
• Drive safely in various weather conditions and times, including nights and weekends
