Job summary

Maersk is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to safely transport freight to customers, distribution centers, and designated locations. You will operate tractors, perform inspections, secure cargo, and maintain accurate records while delivering professional customer service.

The role involves driving on varied routes, adhering to DOT regulations, and working a Wednesday–Saturday schedule with occasional overtime during peak seasons. Office and yard work are supported by a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license and clean driving record.
• Current DOT medical certificate.
• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years.
• Ability to pass criminal background and drug screening.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles, including tractor-trailers.
• Transport and deliver freight according to routes, schedules, and customer requirements.
• Perform required pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
• Secure cargo and protect it during transit.
• Maintain logs, bills of lading, inspection reports, and other records.
