Job summary

Clean Harbors in Reidsville, NC is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs. This role performs driving and non-driving duties on and off customer sites associated with hazardous waste clean-up.

The position offers on-site safety prioritization, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements must be obtainable within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to use mobile devices and perform physical functions as required.
• Successful completion of background check, drug test, and physical (per position).
• Comply with respirator and safety standards per OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks at customer sites and assist field laborers.
• Load/unload trucks and perform related manual tasks.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Comply with DOT, state, and federal regulations.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Handle hazardous materials and site remediation duties as assigned.
