Job summary

Clean Harbors in Reidsville, NC is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers and roll-offs, performing driving and non-driving duties on and off site for hazardous waste clean-up.

You must hold a valid Class A CDL and be able to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days, with good safety records, and the ability to perform physical work and observations of DOT rules.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid Class A CDL.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement must be obtainable within 90 days.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test, and medical exam required.
• Facial hair must meet OSHA respirator standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Perform manual labor on site to meet customer needs.
• Maintain daily logs and time sheets.
• Place vehicles to meet DOT requirements.
• Comply with safety and regulatory standards.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotation.
• Handle site remediation and hazardous materials as needed.
