Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to operate tractor-trailer or straight trucks and deliver palletized freight. The role includes pre-trip inspections, on-time delivery, and documentation verification. The company offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and overtime after 40 hours per week.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with early start times and 10–15 hours of overtime weekly. Candidates must have a valid CDL Class A license, pass a DOT physical, and maintain a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a doubles/triples endorsement.
• Must possess good customer service and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work independently and make quick decisions.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver and pick up palletized freight and/or large shipments.
• Conduct a pre-trip inspection before driving to ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Deliver palletized freight to customers and pick up freight from shippers.
• Verify load-related documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Collect payment for shipments as necessary and return bill of ladings for billing.
