Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to operate tractor-trailer or straight trucks for palletized freight delivery and pickup. The role includes pre-trip inspections, timely delivery, and handling load documentation.

Position offers 10–15 hours overtime weekly, with overtime paid at time-and-a-half after 40 hours. Competitive hourly wage of $23.00–$27.00, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified drivers.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Hold a valid CDL Class A driver's license with a good driving record that meets company standards.

Responsibilities

Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle, safety, and emergency equipment are in good order.
Deliver palletized freight and pick up shipments from shippers in a timely manner.
Verify all load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Collect payment for shipments as necessary and file ladings for billing.
