Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking CDL Class A drivers to deliver and pickup palletized freight on a tractor-trailer or straight truck. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Typical schedule runs Monday–Friday starting 7:30 AM with 10–15 hours of overtime weekly, paid overtime after 40 hours. Wages range from $23.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on experience. You must pass a DOT pre-employment screening and maintain a valid CDL A license with a clean record.

Qualifications

Must possess CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
Ability to operate a manual transmission and handle heavy loads
Strong customer service and independent decision-making skills

Responsibilities

Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and safety readiness
Submit trip documentation and mileage/maintenance forms
Deliver palletized freight and pick up shipments from shippers
Verify load documentation for accuracy and completeness
Collect payment when required and return bills of lading to the office
Maintain DOT and company safety certifications
Assist other drivers with loading, delivery, or pickup as needed
