Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to operate tractor-trailer or straight truck for timely delivery and pickup of palletized freight. The role includes pre-trip inspections, load verification, and customer service across routes.

Compensation includes an hourly pay range with overtime after 40 hours and a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Full-time status with benefits is offered; must meet safety and certification requirements and be 21+ with a valid CDL A.

Qualifications

• Must hold CDL Class A with a clean driving record.
• At least 21 years of age.
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness and safety.
• Submit mileage and maintenance forms and logs.
• Deliver palletized freight to customers and pick up shipments.
• Verify load documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Collect payments for shipments and return bill of ladings to office.
• Maintain DOT and company safety certifications and standards.
• Clean and wash tractor/equipment daily; assist other drivers as needed.
