Job summary

Berco Building Materials is seeking a Commercial Truck Driver (Class A or B) to safely deliver redwood, decking, lumber and hardware to job sites and yards. You will load, secure, and unload materials, while keeping accurate delivery records and communicating with dispatch.

You should have a valid CDL, a clean driving record, and 1–2 years in commercial driving; forklift experience is a plus and outdoor work is common.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B required and a clean driving record.
• 1–2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Forklift/piggyback forklift experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with building materials is helpful.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A or B trucks and load/unload as needed.
• Deliver lumber, decking, hardware, and materials to sites.
• Secure loads with straps and edge protectors per standards.
• Read delivery instructions and communicate delays to dispatch.
• Maintain delivery paperwork and incident reports.
• Support yard and operations when not delivering.
