Job summary

Star Lumber & Supply is seeking a safety-focused CDL Class A and/or Class B Delivery Driver to transport and deliver building materials to customer jobsites and company locations. Drivers serve as ambassadors by providing timely, professional, and damage-free deliveries while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.

The role requires operating Class A/B trucks, delivering to residential and commercial sites, verifying loads, securing cargo, and maintaining logs

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or Class B license.
• Current DOT Medical Certificate.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to residential and commercial construction sites.
• Verify loads for accuracy before departure and confirm deliveries with customers.
• Secure cargo using proper load securement techniques and DOT requirements.
• Conduct pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation.
• Maintain electronic logs, inspection reports, fuel records, and delivery paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, yard personnel, customers, and sales teams.
