Job summary

Qualifications

• Current valid Class A CDL license.
• Current medical certificate from a National Registry medical examiner.
• 2 years of verifiable driving with a Representative Vehicle; or 1 year with a 40-hour certified course.
• Must meet George’s Fleet Safety Program and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR).
• Reading, writing and mathematical comprehension.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload chicks and deliver them safely to grower houses.
• Complete truck inspections and maintain logs/records.
• Monitor trailer environment for chick comfort and traceability.
• Follow DOT regulations and biosecurity guidelines.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and fuel levels; perform other duties as assigned.
