Job summary

Pilgrim’s in Sauk Rapids, MN is hiring a Hatchery Driver responsible for the safe transport of eggs and chicks from company hatcheries, ensuring timely delivery and pickup.

You will operate and maintain commercial hauling equipment, follow delivery schedules, uphold safety, quality, and biosecurity standards, and communicate with hatchery staff, live production teams, and farm personnel to support Pilgrim’s supply chain.

Qualifications

• Certifications & Licenses: Class A CDL with 12 months of verifiable tractor/trailer experience in the last 36 months.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more and operate a manual CMV.
• Ability to communicate effectively with teammates and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently.
• Inspect equipment and report issues to the Supervisor.
• Operate trucks to maintain product quality and integrity.
• Communicate with associates, maintenance staff, growers, and supervisors.
• Keep trucks and work areas clean, neat, and orderly.
• Place each load as directed.
• Follow housekeeping schedule and use PPE.
• Foster teamwork and positive work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
