Job summary

Perdue Transportation Incorporated is seeking a Chick Delivery Driver to ensure safe, on-time deliveries of live chicks between hatcheries, facilities, farms and grower locations. You will load, unload, and transport animals with Moffett equipment, maintain clean equipment, and uphold Perdue standards of safety and animal welfare.

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid Class A CDL, and 2+ years of over-the-road experience in chick delivery or refrigerated trailers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of over-the-road tractor-trailer driving with chick delivery or refrigerated trailers.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver and deliver or backhaul truckloads to facilities, farms, or distributors.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to support animal welfare.
• Comply with hours-of-service, logs, inspections, and load securement.
