Job summary

Mt. Hood Meadows is seeking a CDL Bus Driver to safely transport guests between parking areas and the resort in winter conditions. You will operate passenger buses, perform vehicle inspections, and help employees get to and from the mountain.

This is a part- or full-time, seasonal role requiring a CDL with passenger endorsement and a clean MVR, with weekend/holiday availability and competitive hourly pay. benefits for employees are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Possess current Commercial Driver’s License with passenger endorsement and DOT medical card.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and MVR in good standing.
• Able to be insured to operate company vehicles.
• Able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
• Able to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
• Comfortable interacting with the public using verbal communication.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commit to work weekends and holidays during the winter season.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests, assist with loading/unloading, and communicate changes.

Job description

Position Overview

Keep the mountain moving and help get our guests and employees where they need to go. As a CDL Bus Driver at Mt. Hood Meadows, you’ll be an important part of the daily mountain experience, safely transporting guests between parking areas and the resort while helping employees get to and from the mountain.

You’ll operate passenger buses in challenging winter conditions, follow designated routes and schedules, perform vehicle inspections, and maintain a clean and safe vehicle. You’ll also interact directly with guests, assist with loading and unloading, communicate changing operational conditions, and work closely with the Transportation and Parking teams to keep traffic moving safely and efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience operating CMV passenger buses
• Previous experience of operating vehicles in winter conditions

Compensation:

• Wage: $27.00 - $32.46 hourly
