Job summary

QXO, Inc. is hiring a CDL driver to join our team in Virginia. You will perform touch freight, load and verify shipments, and communicate with dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries. Safety and compliance with DOT rules are essential in all daily tasks.

This role requires a valid CDL (Class A or B), NCCCO and Crane Institute certifications, and at least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience. Outdoor work in various weather conditions is expected, and teamwork is valued.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• NCCCO and Crane Institute Certification required.
• Minimum 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, lifting/moving products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the load accuracy.
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe loading/unloading environment.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and wear PPE.
