Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver - CDL (B) to operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services. The role requires adherence to safety standards, pre/post trip inspections, and accurate reporting of vehicle conditions.

The position involves loading refuse, following route sheets, and maintaining professional customer interactions on daily routes. Location for this role includes working across assigned routes with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Valid Class B or higher Commercial Driver's license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure safety and readiness.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on assigned routes and to disposal sites, following route sheets and dispatcher directions.
• Operate controls to lift, load, and dispose of waste according to safety policies.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers to ensure timely service.
• Complete required route productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
