Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver with a Class B CDL to operate a waste collection truck and provide prompt, courteous service to customers on assigned routes. You will ensure vehicle readiness and comply with all safety standards and regulations while maintaining daily reports and customer interactions.

You will load refuse, operate the packer, and follow route sheets, ensuring services are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent customer service and time management.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle.
• Safely operate the truck on assigned routes and service customers as scheduled.
• Load refuse and operate the packer according to safety policies.
• Interact professionally with customers, dispatchers, and co-workers.
• Complete required reports (VCRs, productivity sheets) daily.
