Job summary

Republic Services in Allentown, PA seeks a CDL B Driver to safely operate a collection truck, serve customers, and ensure vehicle and safety compliance in accordance with company policies.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, read route sheets, load refuse, and interact courteously with customers and dispatchers on a daily basis.

Eligible candidates hold a Class B CDL with air brakes, possess strong time management and safety focus, and are committed to reliable service.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver's license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along the designated route and service each customer as identified on the route sheet.
• Operate controls to lift and load refuse, operate compactor and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure timely service.
• Complete route/productivity sheets, VCRs and other reports as required.
