Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver with a Class B CDL to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services to customers. You will perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure safety, follow safety policies, and complete routine reports with a focus on reliability and compliance.

This full-time role requires punctuality, clear communication, and a safety-first mindset to protect team members and the public while delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure safety checks are in order.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on designated routes and service each customer as identified.
• Operate controls to lift and load refuse and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag as required.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable waste and report safety issues.
