Job summary

Republic Services in Houston is seeking a Driver with a CDL-B to safely operate a collection truck, follow route sheets, and service customers on a daily basis. You will load waste, operate the compactor, and ensure the vehicle is in top condition while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on designated routes and service each customer as identified.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and others on a daily basis.
• Complete route productivity sheets, VCRs and other required reports.
• Maintain adherence to safety policies and company procedures.
