Job summary

Republic Services seeks a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services. The role requires pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections, adherence to safety standards, and daily completion of VCRs and reports.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper operation.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on the designated route and service customers as identified on the route sheet.
• Load refuse, operate the packer and dispose of material at the designated facility while following safety policies.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and colleagues to ensure timely service.
