Gourmet Foods International is seeking a dependable CDL driver to operate routes and deliver customer orders in a safe, compliant, and timely manner.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, ensuring proper load temps, and handling payments and returns where required. The role emphasizes customer service excellence, on-site maintenance support, and adherence to DOT/FMCSA regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 21 years old.
• Valid CDL License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to step up 17 inches and climb up to three rungs of a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections, verify routes, assess product counts, and complete safety checks per DOT/FMCSA.
• Safely drive and deliver orders while following federal, state, and company protocols.
• Maintain proper load temperatures as specified.
• Unload products manually or with a hand truck and place in customer storage areas.
• Verify deliveries, obtain signatures, collect payments when required, communicate discrepancies.
