Pitney Bowes Presort Services in Orlando, FL is hiring a CDL B Truck Driver for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 10:00 AM–8:00 PM EST). Pay is $27.50 per hour, with weekly pay and possible overtime. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, log maintenance, and on-time deliveries for presort mail.

Requirements include a valid CDL Class B license, 6 months of driving experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required. Local deliveries and mail handling are involved.

Qualifications

Must be minimum 21 years in age.
Ability to drive a CDL Straight/Box Truck or equivalent.
Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license in the state of residence (CDL Class B) and meets applicable DOT requirements for CDL.
Minimum of 6 months verifiable driving experience driving a Straight/Box Truck with safe driving record.
Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public and to understand highway signs and signals.
Ability to read a map and understand directions.
Ability to understand USPS regulations and managing standards.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., walk, stand, stoop, and bend with or without accommodation.
Must have the ability to work mandatory overtime that may include weekends, holidays and/or a different shift with little or no advance notice.

Responsibilities

Inspect assigned vehicles per presort services guidelines and report defects.
Maintain a daily log for mileage, stops and cargo using required system.
Maintain pickup and delivery schedules meeting deadlines using software tools.
Ensure mail is reviewed for proper dates and attached pickup slips before loading.
Use USPS equipment only for movement of live mail.
Return damaged mail following handling procedures.
Keep work area clean and safe; follow safety policies.

Pitney Bowes is hiring a CDL B Truck Driver, 2nd Shift at our Orlando, Florida Presort Services facility.

Join our team and earn $27.50 per hour paid weekly with possible overtime!

Your 2nd Shift schedule will be Monday through Friday from 10:00AM to 8:00PM EST.

You will

Inspect assigned vehicles per the Pitney Bowes Presort Services pre-trip inspection guidelines and procedures daily. Report any defective findings to the Transportation Supervisor to be for repairs immediately.

Maintains a daily driver’s log or route sheet for mileage, stops and cargo, or utilization of TMW (ELD) system.

Maintains pickup and delivery schedules meeting deadlines utilizing software tools.

Knows and understands safety and security precautions and follows company policies and keeps vehicle clean.

Ensure the mail is reviewed for proper dates, presort slugs and a pickup slip is attached with each order prior to loading on the truck.

Ensures USPS equipment is used only for the movement of “Live” mail.

Returns client damaged or undeliverable mail, following internal handling procedures for damaged secured mail.

Uses all required cell phone applications.

Keeps work area clean by ensuring mail bins are under machines or in APC’s, plastic straps are off floor to prevent possible tripping hazards, and sweeping the floors between assigned pickups or deliveries, and all other duties as assigned.

Demonstrates safety and security precautions and follows company policies.

As a CDL B Truck Driver, you have

Must be minimum 21 years in age.

Ability to drive a CDL Straight/Box Truck or equivalent.

Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license in the state where the driver resides (CDL Class B) and meets applicable DOT requirements for CDL.
