Job summary

LRS is seeking a Swing Driver in Woodstock, IL to join our waste and recycling operations. You will drive, haul waste and recycling, and support route management and dispatch per safety rules.

Responsibilities include maintaining logs, communicating with dispatch and customers, and assisting with driver coordination and training as needed. This full-time role requires CDL, English proficiency, and DOT medical compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B CDL.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to drive manual transmission.
• Must have a valid DOT medical card or obtain prior to hire.
• Must not have any DUI’s or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
• Must not have any license suspensions within the last 2 years.
• No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
• Must be able to read and speak the English language well.
• Physically able to perform job duties including lifting up to 110 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle safely and efficiently per regulations.
• Complete end-of-day documentation and logs.
• Coordinate with Route Manager to improve route efficiencies.
• Communicate professionally with Dispatch and customers.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new drivers as needed.
