Job summary

LRS isSeeking a qualified driver in Joliet, IL to haul waste and recycling materials and to assist with route coordination. You will work with Dispatch and Route Manager to ensure timely, safe pickups and deliveries while adhering to all safety and DOT rules.

Requirements include a valid Class B CDL, ability to drive a manual transmission, a DOT medical card, and legal eligibility to work in the U.S. English proficiency is necessary. Pay is hourly and shown in the salary section.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B CDL.
• Able to drive manual transmission or willing to learn.
• DOT medical card or obtain prior to hire.
• No DUI/OVI in last 5 years or 2 in last 10 years.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive the assigned vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and document checks.
• Maintain driver logs and communicate with Dispatch/Route Manager.
• Assist in coordinating routes and lead other drivers as needed.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.
