Job summary

Lakeshore Waste Services is seeking a Swing Driver to service customer accounts and haul waste/recyclables as directed by dispatch. The role supports container, commercial, roll‑off or residential driver assignments as needed, following safety rules and DOT/OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities include completing work safely, performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, and maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while delivering reliable waste services.

Qualifications

• Operate vehicle in accordance with safety rules, OSHA and DOT requirements.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle.

Responsibilities

• The Swing driver is responsible for servicing customer accounts dispatched to him/her throughout the day.
• The Swing driver collects and hauls waste, recycling materials or containers to a disposal site or recycling plant as directed by dispatch.
• This position may perform as Container, Commercial, Roll Off or Residential Driver as needed.
