Clean Harbors, Inc. in Romulus, MI is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee. This role trains to drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, perform pickups of containerized waste, and sell products within a defined route.

Qualifications

• CDL B within 180 days (company paid).
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 30 days of CDL B.
• Independent work with good time management.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Able to complete background check, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority and follow safety policies.
• Complete daily services, deliveries, and pickups on schedule.
• Switch 15- and 30-gallon drums at customer locations.
• Complete required documentation and labeling.
• Generate leads and sell products to existing accounts.
• Follow local, state and federal regulations and DOT requirements.
• Operate vehicles safely and adhere to company guidelines.
• Observe environmental, health and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
