Safety-Kleen in Romulus, MI is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee (Driver Class B Trainee). This program trains you to drive a Class B box truck to provide on-site service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products and services along a defined route.

The company will pay for you to obtain your CDL. As a trainee, you will complete required safety trainings, work toward your CDL B and Hazmat/Tanker endorsements, and grow into a full driver

Qualificações

• CDL B within 180 days of employment (company paid).
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 30 days of CDL B.
• Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test and physical as required.

Responsabilidades

• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions at customer locations.
• Complete documentation and labeling.
• Generate and collect leads for new products/services.
• Sell additional products/services to existing accounts.
• Follow all safety and regulatory requirements.
• Safely operate vehicles per DOT and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
