Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. in Irving, TX is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee (Driver Class B Trainee) to train for a Class B box truck, provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products and services along a defined route.

The program includes company-paid CDL training, safety and compliance emphasis, hands-on route work, and opportunities for growth within a nationwide environmental services leader.

Qualifications

• CDL B within 180 days of employment (company paid).
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 30 days of CDL B.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem solving abilities required.
• Physical requirements per position.
• Background check, drug test and medical screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority and follow all safety policies.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions at customer locations.
• Complete required documentation and labeling.
• Generate and collect leads for new products and services.
• Sell additional products and services into existing accounts.
• Comply with local, state and federal regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles per DOT and company guidelines.
• Observe environmental health and safety operating procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
