Safety-Kleen in Groveport, OH is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee (Driver Class B Trainee) to train for driving a Class B box truck, providing onsite service for parts washer machines, and selling products along a defined route.

The program includes company-paid CDL training, a focus on safety, comprehensive benefits after start, and opportunities for growth within Clean Harbors’ family of companies. Pay range identified as $15–$35 per hour with OT potential.

Qualifications

• Obtain CDL B within 180 days (company paid).
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 30 days of CDL B.
• Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test and physical as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the priority and follow safe practices.
• Complete daily services, deliveries, and pickups on schedule.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions at customer sites.
• Complete required documentation and labeling.
• Generate/collect leads for new products and services.
• Sell additional products and services to existing accounts.
• Follow local, state and federal regulations and safety rules.
• Operate vehicles in compliance with DOT and company policies.
• Follow environmental and safety guidelines and perform other duties as assigned.
