Job summary

Lakeshore Recycling Systems is seeking a Residential Driver to operate a collection truck safely, provide prompt, courteous service to customers, and ensure compliant pickup of residential waste and recyclables on assigned routes.

You will perform accurate pre- and post-trip inspections, report delays to dispatch, maintain the vehicle's cleanliness and safety, follow DOT regulations, and resolve customer concerns while upholding professional standards on local routes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CDL Class B license with air brake endorsement is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential collection truck in a safe and efficient manner.
• Collect waste and recyclables from residential customers on assigned routes.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Communicate with dispatch and route supervisors regarding issues or delays.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle.
• Follow all safety guidelines and DOT regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns when necessary.
