Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is hiring a Relief Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide courteous waste removal services. You will ensure vehicle safety compliance, complete daily VCRs, and follow all safety standards and regulations.

The role requires a Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement and prior trucking experience; shift pattern is Mon-Fri with possible Saturdays. Competitive hourly pay with benefits is offered.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections. Report safety issues.
• Safely operate heavy truck along designated route and service customers.
• Load refuse, operate compactor and dispose of material per procedures.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and staff daily.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag per procedure.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable materials.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and clean where appropriate.
• Complete productivity sheets, VCRs and required reports.
• Adhere to productivity standards for timely service.
• Follow safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
