Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Relief Driver with a Class B CDL to safely operate collection trucks on designated routes and provide prompt waste removal services. Responsibilities include pre/post inspections, loading refuse, and maintaining equipment in accordance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on designated routes and service customers.
• Load refuse and operate the compactor according to safety policies.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and staff.
• Identify unsatisfied waste containers and tag as needed.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and maintain cleanliness.
• Complete required reports (route sheets, VCRs).
• Maintain vehicle readiness and minimize downtime.
