Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Relief Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck, service customers on assigned routes, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The role requires pre/post inspections, courteous customer interaction, and adherence to company policies while maintaining vehicle readiness.

The position emphasizes safe operation, adherence to regulations, and timely, professional waste removal services for customers. Two years of truck experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely operate heavy truck on designated routes and service each customer.
• Load refuse using proper controls and operate the packer and disposal site.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers daily.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag as required.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and maintain vehicle readiness.
