Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Relief Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and deliver courteous waste removal services. The role requires following safety standards and completing daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects.

You will service customers along routes, read route sheets, and maintain compliance with Company, state, and federal regulations. Two years of CDL driving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior experience driving commercial trucks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on designated routes to service customers.
• Read route sheets and follow dispatcher instructions for service.
• Operate controls to lift, load refuse, and dispose of material per policy.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers daily.
• Identify unsatisfactory containers and tag them as required.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports daily.
• Maintain adherence to productivity standards and safety policies.
