Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Relief Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal for customers. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards, complete VCRs daily, and follow all state and federal regulations while on route.

The role emphasizes protecting safety, delivering reliable service to customers, and participating in the ReSOP program. Prior truck driving experience and a valid Class B CDL with air brakes are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely drive the designated route and service customers.
• Operate controls to load refuse and dispose at facility.
• Interact professionally with customers and dispatch.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag as required.
• Monitor waste quality and contain spills safely.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and complete reports.
• Follow safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
